Hi Mas,
I was just wondering which you would prefer for CCW in the city, and occasionally in the woods, a G32 or a G30SF? Also, which round has the best street record?

Both have excellent street records with the right ammo. Woods? .357 has flatter trajectory for long shots. Depends what you figure you'll have to shoot at in the woods. Non-expanding .357 SIG rounds should have good penetration potential on heavy animals, but this has not been explored very much in .357 SIG caliber. (For larger animals, neither caliber is ideal, which is why so many woods-wise Alaskans carry .44 Magnums.) In urban use, where excessive penetration can be a concern in crowded environments, lower penetration loads are available for .45 ACP (Silvertip, for example), but not in .357 SIG unless you go with exotic, frangible ammo.

When traveling, I go with the .45, simply because .357 SIG ammo is fairly thin on the ground in many places, and can be hard to replenish with your preferred flavor when on the road.
