changing sights on a .22 kit

I did a search but did not see this topic.

I carry a 229 and bought a .22lr kit for it to practice for cheap. The 22 kit has three dot sights (i have also heard them called adjustable target sights on one product description), not the dot/post sights like the .40sw slide. My 229 is a stock factory refurbished NONrail piece. What # sights should I put on my .22 slide to make it match?

Would it be possible to put XSsights on the .22 kit if I want to go that route?

The .22 kit seems to have a different cut on the slide, there's a flat behind the dovetail cut. I'm not sure regular Sig sights would fit.
