Pictures are REQUIRED!

I'm partial to stainless steel. I think it's a toss up between the Ed Brown Kobra Carry and the VBOB, but since I own neither I will post a picture of the next best thing after that.

Depends, sometimes I like my Beastbob best, others I like the looks of the VBOB. I definitely like the bob's.

And an old school blued officer lightweight, a 1911 that you actually can have with you all the time as it is the perfect carry package and will never go down in value. It is the best looking because it is "useable" art.http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn271/canoesmith/pix144676775.jpg

Best looking? Easy. Stainless steel Gold Cup Trophy.

http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll18/jrsloanejr/CIMG0010.jpg

Here is why.

1. Stainless is beautiful. (Nothing else comes close.)

2. No front slide serrations. (Serrations mess up the long lines of the beautiful slide).

3. No ambidextrous safety. (Ambidextrous safeties are too busy.)

4. No upswept beaver tail. (While functional, up swepts are not as good looking as down swept duck bills.)

5. Skeletonized hammer. (Modern and nice.)

6. Three hole trigger. (Nothing else comes close.)

IMO VZ grips look pretty good too!

There are a lot of beauties out there. Because you asked I am just stating my opinion.

I love the colt special combat ,the wilson supergrade, I have several stainless 1911s... Ed brown, colt gold cup , springfield longslide ... I think black guns are better looking. My colt custom ipsc gun is just beautiful. Don williams built it for me. Love the mag funnel. I am shopping for two new 1911s. One more for my daughter and a carry pistol for me. All those beautiful pistols and I have no idea what I want next despite having a good idea of function and parts needed.

It's like trying to decide what woman is the most beautiful out of a endless amount of beautiful women.
They all have beauty. And all of us will have a preference of which is the most beautiful.
Every picture posted shows a good looking gun.
That's because 1911's are good loking guns, as compared to those "ugly" guns.

I'm not a fan of the billboard types. I've always said (since long before NNs) that if someone made a virgin slide 1911 of decent quality at an OK price they would sell as many as they could make.

Unfortunately, Guncrafter NNs are a little bit... pricey. :)

If that ***** was Hardchromed, I am sure Joe would be burning a hole in my phone any minute now.....:)
It's even got a 3 hole trigger! When can you get me one Dave? How long do you think it will take Chris to hardchrome that badboy?

How much different is it than the TRP Operator?? I haven't shot mine yet, but the quality is outstanding. The TGO must be the Ferrari of 1911's!

I've got a TRP as well. The TGO is miles ahead of it, in my opinion.

Its certainly one of the best 1911s on the market.

Thanks. I bought it second hand but what I was told is that it's a Glade's Gun Works Custom, hard chrome finish, beveled magazine well, Wichita adjustable rear sight, extended safety and magazine release, and a match hammer and sear... built off of a Caspian slide, frame and barrel...

One thing I know for sure, it's the sweetest shooter I've ever fired. Only thing that was close was my buddy's Baer Monolith...

yes and no, dealers probably have an order in for them, but they may not be sold to end user's. Call Jetgun's to see if they have one coming in. It seems that they have them every year.

To order new, you're talking about $2800-$3K and a year wait.

You can sometimes find them on GB. Just make sure its a TGO1, not a TGO2. They look similar.

What kind of accuracy can you expect out of the TGO? Less than 2" at 25 yds?

Well, I'm done with the flat trigger. I gave them a shot for 6+ months and haven't noticed enough of a difference to switch all my pistols over. It's better for me to keep everything the same, back to the Swiss cheese trigger for my Pro.
