Data from VihtaVuori shows 6.3-6.9gr for a 147gr xtp in 9mm with 6.3gr getting 1175fps and 6.9gr ...1207fps:wow: in a 4" barrel. I loaded up to 6.7gr and got just 1045fps on my Pro Chrono. I also read at few 147gr +p HSTs at 1030fps out of the g26.At 6.7gr the primers were flattening out so I didnt go higher. Something isnt adding up.:dunno:
Just because something is expensive, is from Europe, and has a name that can't be pronounced, doesn't mean it will do something no other powder will do.

LOL. Sucka.:embarassed: It did burn clean and was accurate. I guess 1045fps aint that bad shooting Gold dots and xtp BTJHPs. It was pretty expensive though.
1045 is pretty stout. Since those bullets are made to work at 1000, you got a good load. The only 147's I ever clocked were Ranger SXT's at 1000 and a max load of Bullseye with a 147FMJ that did 990 or so. That was out of a G17. Power Pistol has a good reputation for performance. I have a pound of it, but haven't gotten around to trying it.

Blue dot is supposed get it done also. Before I had a chrono I did some wetpack testing out of my G19 with the same load(3n38) using gold dots. It really folded the pedals back like they were driven too fast. But I cant see 1/2" barrel difference having that much impact.
