Thompson Contender questions [Archive]

I just picked up a Thompson Contender G2 in trade. Can you help me get a good estimate on it's value. Also, what brand scope rings do these look kike. There are no markings/numbers on the rings.

Super 14 barrell in .223
Simmons Pro Hunter 4x32 scope
Weaver #92A scope mount.

I'd say $400-$450 for a value, scope rings, some sort of cheap Weaver knock offs.

Those rings look a little like Burris. If so, they're not cheap knock offs.

I wonder if there is an easy way to find out what they actually are.

Don't think they are Burris.

Their Zee rings use a straight slot screw on the cross bolt, only the rimfire rings have the big knob like that.
