I decided to give my new G20 a try at 50 meters last weekend (55 yards) and I was quite impressed with the results to say the least.

I did only 15 rounds at this distance (5 warm-ups and 10 for real) and got a score of 84/100 with a standard pistol target.

I had to aim an inch or two under the black bullseye to get them in the center.

My load was a 170 grains Fiocchi TMJ bullet in a Starline case with a Magtech LP primer. Powder charge was 11,0 grains of Vihta N105. COL 1,255. Don't now what velocities I'm getting, I'm guessing at least 1200 fps and probably more in the 1250 fps range. Empty cases do fly about 15 ft in my stock G20, but no pressure signs.

Next challenge is to get the 10mm out to 100 meters (110 yards).

I really like this pistol, my plan was to use it once in a while and do most shooting with my .45's, but since I have this G20 (2 months ago) I have shot well over a 1000 rounds through it. Good thing that I reload though, or I would be on water and bread for the rest of the month

Good job there, sir. I commonly shoot at 25-75 yards with my 10mm's. You've got a good group for 55 yards. Practice makes perfect. Even the Glocks are more accurate than most give them credit for.

Thanks for sharing!

Baie goed'n tres bien, Skieter!

Ditto to nick.

Good job there!

A question; Can you hunt with a handgun there in Belge?

That G20 would be perfect for roedeer and Wildschwein, too!

Hi there, that was a mix of some Dutch, French and German, those happen to be our 3 national languages in Belgium

Handgun hunting is not allowed here, only rifle hunting.

At our huge outdoor range (3/4 mile wide and 2 miles long, is a part of the military range that is used by civilians during the weekend) I have spotted some deer and boar in the past, but of course didn't shoot them as it is a shooting range and not a hunting range. But if one of the boars should ever decide to attack me I will put the money on me and my G20

The first 20 rounds I put through my G29 I put 5 at 50 yards and the group was about like that. These Glocks are not revolvers, but they are pretty good!
