Bushing in .223 primer pocket.

I bought 1K of mixed head stamped brass, and some of them have a bushing in the primer pocket.

If I don't bevel the bushing, the primer won't go in.

My question, is this military brass?

Post a pic, but my bet is that it is military brass and what appears to be a bushing is really the crimp common to military ammo. It keeps the primer from backing out and somewhat seals it.
