Larry at Midway and I have been good friends for almost 20 years. A few months after I joined the forum we had a long conversation about you... don't ever expect to get a birthday promotion from them. :whistling:

I was just very disappointed with Midway. I ordered 1000 Ranier .40 180gr FN and 200 9mm 124gr RN and five days later they told me that they were out of stock of the .40. This came after telling me that they were in stock, then out of stock, then in stock but had to be counted from 500 round packs, then that they were ready to ship, finally to be told that they were not in stock and that they were oversold. They credited my debit card for the .40 then tried to send me 200 rounds of 9mm ranier cheap bullets for $43. Wow! I can shoot factory rounds for that kind of money. Luckily I figured that out before they shipped them. Why didnt they just back order them or contact me first? I have spent thousands with them, but now will probably be using them only when nobody else has what I need. They have always shipped very promptly, even though it was expensive shipping. Their prices are not the best, but their service always was. My last two orders have been this way, very slow. Anyone else notice any drop in quality from Midway? And btw their coupon codes have tooooo many qualifiers to ever be any use. Either that or you spend $300 but only get the discount for $100 because you saved 2.3% on a sale item already. Midway used to be great in my opinion, but now they will be way down my list of suppliers. I read in here about powder valley, ordered 1000 Berry's .40 and 500 9mm that was shipped the same day I ordered. It was cheaper for 1500 rounds than Midway for 1200 rounds.
