View Full Version : Winchester Ranger 147 grain SXT JHP
Would captioned round be a good one in a G26 for SD? Also would $24.99 be a good price for a box of 50? Thanks for any info.

For those who prefer the 147 grain subsonic in a 9mm JHP, the SXT is certainly better than any conventional JHP in that weight. I'd still prefer its successor, the Ranger-T, though. The Ranger-T is designed to leave its petals extended after expansion, while they tend to fold back on the SXT before it finishes carving its path.
best,
Mas
Thank you for the info Mas. I will look at the Ranger-T.
