I have been waiting for what seems like forever for 20" uppers to be instock at Bravo USA. They are now so I ordered one today. Just in case anyone else has been waiting.

I'm happy with my RRA 20" upper. It shoots better than I do and I've never had any problems with feed/chamber/extract. 1:9 Wilde chamber.

20" HBAR, no thanks.
I had one of these, and besides it weighing a ton, the Wylde chamber on mine had to be reamed to function reliably. I'm glad you're happy with your RRA, but the BCM 20" is just a much better upper.

BCM 20" is a very solid choice.

Thanks all. I am just happy to have finally been able to get a 20" upper. I have had the fixed stock lower for months now it seems just waiting for a top end :) Still needs some hand guards and a BCG. :)

Good choice on the Bravo 20".
I have a 16" and 14.5" and love them.
BCM sells an excellent BCG, that's what I run in both mine, just
the regular not the Ionbond finish.
Don't know what kind of hand guard you are looking for, tactical
or not. I ordered one of the MagPul MOE handguards and really
like it, good fit and no play at all on mine. They now make them
for the rifle also.
Anyways good choice, and good shooting.

Thanks. I have a 16" LMT upper on my only other AR and I am happy with it but LMT does not seem to make a 20" version. Heard great things about the BCM uppers so I have high hopes. I have purchased from Bravo before and was happy, it fact my LMT upper came from them as well as some Magpul stuff.

I will get a BCG pretty soon, just going to piece this AR together as I can afford it. I will most likely get one from Bravo. :) As far as hand guards I am looking for some basic ones, either GI type or the MOE version. I have a LaRue BUIS for it (maybe a carry handle or maybe not I really like the LaRue BUIS as a primary) and it will a pretty basic AR overall. Trying to recapture my youth from 1987 when Uncle Sam gave me a M16A2 to play with. :)

Not sure who makes it really. Also not sure if it is MP tested, not really a make or break issue for me. I would imagine it is pretty high quality either way. I would think that info is on the Bravo USA website though.

Now I need some standard handguards, a BCG and a charging handle to complete the 20" AR.

Overall quality of the new upper seems pretty darn good. The 16" upper is a LMT and I have been happy with it, I am sure I will be with the BCM as well.
