View Full Version : Knights Armament RAS
I am thinking of putting this on my 6920. How are they quality-wise?
Also, I remember a few months ago these were everywhere used for about $100, anyone know where to find such a deal on one?

A seller on ebay had about a half dozen sets new $150. Looked to be authentic.
Nevermine he sold them all.

I can assure you anything that is truly a KAC product is not lacking in the quality department.
I picked mine up at a gun show from Old Sarge's Drop Zone for $160, check their site or call to see if they still have or can get them.
There is nothing wrong with the quality at all, but I would not pay what they usually go for brand new, though I would like to find a 12" RAS for future project.

They’re excellent. They are light weight and lock up tight. If you can pick one up cheap, do it.

KAC RAS/RIS is military issue, I had one on my M4 for 3 years.
They're not bad, they originated the concept after all.
Others have done better but you're not lacking running anything KAC makes.

I bought all of my KAC RAS systems used off of the ARFCOM EE for $160 and less. That kind of price for the handguards, a variety of covers, and a VFG is hard to beat.

Be mindful of what you are buying as there are a LOT of counterfeits out there.
