"Gov. Chris Christie, through his press office, declined to comment" I guess he is too busy going after police and teacher unions.

The number of people calling for Christie to enter the 2012 race concerns me a lot.

I have no problems with him going after the unions as long as he is clear on the concept that collective bargaining is a separate issue from our pensions and statutory rights as public employees.

Chrsitie would make an excellent president. Public employees are over compensted which is contributing to state bankruptcies.

It's not the public employees who get the fat compensation packages... go check out the UAW and other thug mafia unions that ran their mother companies into the ground.

Sure, I make a good living but I am 35-50% underpaid compared to those in the private sector doing the same type of work. As for our pensions, well, I pay my contributions into it along with the employer match, just like the private sector 401(k) and their employer match.

State bankruptcies can be better attributed to runaway spending at the capitol and welfare programs gone amok. At least whatever the state spends on us, we are actually producing labor. What do the welfare recipients and pet projects produce for the public?

Shrek is an ogre, not a troll.

On a side note, the iPhone auto correct changed "Shrek" to "Sheen" as in Charlie. Teehee!

Based on what I've heard, (I don't follow NJ politics), Christie is anti-cop and anti-gun. That's enough to convince me he's not the man for the job.
