Hey all,
I'm moving from MA to MN after the first of 2012. I know that I need to take a CHL class in MN, but is there anything important legally that I need to know.
Magazine limits, AWB, Open Carry?
Thank you.

This is a pretty good summary of the laws.

This is to my knowledge...............
You can go to the bars (I believe in some other CCW states you cannot) but no drinking. There actually is a posted limit so you can have a little wine in church.
Most important (to me): no carry limit on magazines, rounds, or firearms.
Don't worry about limit on number of firearms purchased per day.
Open carry ok but I wouldn't. In the cities its a very diverse crowd and I'd worry about causing headaches.
Send me a message if you would like some info on ranges/ classes if you will be in the MSP area.

Should state open carry is OK with CCW permit only. If you open carry without a CCW you are in violation of law.
