Hi Mas,
Thanks for the wealth of info you have provided in this forum. I recently purchased my first handgun (Glock 23) to use for home defense and have been reading up in this forum every day about SD.
My question is regarding the aftermath of using high capacity magazines in a self defense shooting in California. According to this source (http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=387409) (and this one (http://wiki.calgunsfoundation.org/index.php/Large-capacity_magazine_restrictions) which includes the penal code), owning and using high cap mags is not illegal. Buying, selling, manufacturing, and importing is what can get you in trouble. So, barring where the mags actually came from, how would this pan out after the shooting? Would using them make me look bad in court? Would I be better off just sticking to 10 rounders in my defense weapon?
Thanks for you time,
ed.
