Looking for a new holster for a G26. What are you guys using for CCW rigs? I am looking mostly for IWB holsters but would like to know what you use for belt slide also. Photos would be a great help if you have them.

Thanks

Greg

I really love the 'Dual Carry' from Bullard Leather. It's like a dream after wasting tons of money on lesser holsters. The downside though is they're about 3-4 months wait time on those due to demand.

I have been using a Blade Tech NANO IWB for the past month on my G26 and I really like it. It is very comfortable and the gun disappears under just a t shirt.
I just got a NANO for my G30 yesterday and have been wearing it and it to is the most comfortable and concealable IWB I have ever used for my G30.
I am sold on these NANO holsters and will use them whenever I carry a Glock IWB. I just haven't found anything in kydex that rides as good on the hip IWB as the NANO does and I've tried just about all of the IWB's out there.
Go to www.blade-tech.com and look up the NANO and they have some good pictures of it being worn IWB, and a good description of the holster.

comp-Tac MTAC for my 26. I really like it, I also use their OWB Paddle for Winter carry.

You might want to look at the Crossbreed Supertuck (crossbreedholsters.com). Its the best IWB I've had.

CrossBreed or Side Armor is what I usually use.

For me, small gun, small holster. Also, the smaller the gun the more vertical I prefer to carry it. I like clip-on holsters for small guns (simple and low-profile), as well as kydex for all my guns for gaming and very hot days. Wet leather against skin sucks.

+1 for Crossbreed Supertuck. I absolutely love mine. It's extremely comfortable and conceals very well.

I've been using this $20 Don Hume IWB with the steel clip & it gets alot of use & cost very little for a boned leather holster..

I use a Galco UDC. Very little of the hook shows on my belt, and it's tuckable. I'm very pleased with it.

I agree with Glock17L, Thats what I use and like and I just got a Bianchi from a guy on here, same general style only has a higher sweat guard. Love the clip on's. Lot easier for an older "portly" gentleman such as myself:supergrin: I do have a cross breed, while comfortable, it's a pain in the *** to me.

HIGHLY!!!! Recommend this, I have it for my G27 and it's AWESOME. It's convertible too so you can do in or out of waistband.

I use a Galco Royal Guard for glovebox / bag carry, and a Crossbreed SuperTuck for IWB.

No holster with a single clip or attachment point is going to be satisfactory. You can get by with one, but it's always going to perform poorly compared to a proper holster. A glock sport is a great all-around starter holster. They perform well enough that many never have a need for another. I have a walk-in closet full of high end issued and personally purchased gear, and I still use a glock sport fairly regularly off duty.

Depending on the weather I have a DeSantis ankle holster, a DeSantis cargo pocket holster and a GlockTech MIC holster for IWB. You absolutely cannot beat the MIC for Mexican carry style which I prefer for IWB because I don't have to take my gun off to lean back in a chair or drive.

I like the CTAC for my G27

Others will give you models to look at. I'm only going to suggest that if there is EVER a possibility you might end up with a G19 also, to purchase IWB and OWB holsters designed for the G19. The G26 will fit any holster designed for the G19. Sure the G19 holsters are 1/2-inch longer but if it's an IWB, no one will ever notice. Even an OWB it's not really noticable. And it'll save you some $$$.

The only exception is if G26 is for appendex carry.

I have an Alessi Talon Plus and a Sidearmor IWB for my G27. Both seem to work well. Beltman 1.25 cowhide for a belt. A good belt is important. Buy a quality one, it saves a lot in the long run.

The MIC holster is one of the most unique holsters I've ever used. I prefer the razor model. One of my favorite IWB holsters by far.

I made my own holster, modeling it after the comptacs and crossbreeds.

Interesting. I didn't know MIC made a holster, just a trigger guard suitable for a gun kept in a drawer. The MIC holster is one of the most unique holsters I've ever used. I prefer the razor model. One of my favorite IWB holsters by far.

I have used a Fobus OWB for my Glock 26 and Glock 30. Some don't like Fobus. I find they work very well and are quite comfortable, even with an extra magazine on my weak hand side. Just remember to spray some silicone in the trigger well from time to time.

Crossbreed Super Tuck, or check out Theis Holsters here on GT, he gives them the combat cut, they are priced great and the wait time is VERY minimal.

Good Luck.

All day carry and leathersnob satisfaction: Brommeland Max Con V.

Quick mount car carry clip on: High Noon Mr. Softy.

I agree with earlier poster who said, "small gun, small holster".

Don Hume PCCH for IWB. On the waistband try the Desantis mini-slide.

I like both of mine!
