Shot with Brass Blazer 230 GR. .45 ACP FMJ.

I saw this rabbit trying to eat our grapes, starwberries, and gardens. We tried to trap the rabbit with our trap box. That rabbit wasn't dumb to buy our trap. So I had to hunt this rabbit to protect my new baby grape vines.

At around 5:20pm I saw the rabbit was eatting some gardens near by the grape vineyard. So I tried to approach her in the range to hunt. She heard me and when I was in the range of 20 yards, she ran into the wood on our property. I followed her for few minutes. I got her within my range. I raised my G30, I took an aim, finger on the trigger, Glock's safe action was deactivated.

First shot missed on around at 5:30pm, 20 yards. Maybe it went over her.

At 8:30pm (still in daylight), the rabbit was in the backyard trying to find her supper with our grape vineyard. First shot missed, went into the ground right below of her, second shot hit, she flipped over from the impact of the FMJ 230 GR. .45 ACP, and she was crawling to her "safe house", third shot to finish her.

The shot to the target was like 20 yards.

I need more practice but I'm proud that my G30 had her first hunt kill. :)

All in protection of your crops.

I've had a pair of spring bunnies eating my flower buds for a few months and the box trap is not working either.

One day.

Good thing it wasn't a G29. You might have a foot left.

LOL!

Well, if I used G29 with FMJ 10mm then it will be the same thing as I did with my G30 and FMJ.

However, if I used JHP bullets, then I won't be able to post up the rabbit picture on GT, because it will be so nasty.

Techinically 2 Shots, so on the Rabbit one-shot-stop scale the .45acp is at 50%

Meanwhile, watching Swamp People, I seen a hunter kill an 8ft Gator with a $180 Heritage Arms .22 magnum revolver. One shot in the head.

So lets recap

2 Shots of 45acp to kill a rabbit

1 shot of .22magnum to kill a Gator
