In the 158 grain lead semi-wad cutter hollow point +P. Is there a difference in street performance between the Remington, Federal, and Winchester? Or do you just prefer the Remington brand?

Historically, Remington has used a softer lead composition than its competitors in this load, resulting in generally more consistent expansion. DEA agents told me decades ago that their agency had determined that in testing and field-review of shootings. Google Steve Camp, whose research has more recently confirmed the same. Of course, it's particularly important with short barrel weapons, where there's going to be less velocity to drive expansion.
