View Full Version : Baer Police Special 1911 (PICS)
I got bored this morning and thought I would break out one of the Baers for some pics. This is one you don't see too often. Its a Police Special model. From the info I have gathered they made 64 of these for a distributor in the mid-late 90's. It is very similar to the SRP model except for the single thumb saftey. Like all of the Baers it's a tack driver, and I carry it every now and then. I'm not that good with a camera, as you can tell :embarassed:

very nice.
Clean and professional.
I wouldn't mind one of those.
Thanks guys, It's one of my favorites. I've been thinking about a Greider slide stop and an EGW thumb saftey. The Baer Coat has got me worried. Will a blued part be a big difference color wise and make it look bad? If so what are my options? I would really like the wider thumb saftey and I have always prefered a lip on the slide stop.
Cool Baer, I believe Shortcut owns one as well.
Cool I'd like to hear what he thinks of his. Mine has been perfect.

Really nice!
very nice, below is my #58. I also have #36. do you have the matching knife? there were 250 knifes made to go with this pistol, all marked "POLICE SPECIAL" #... The closes i found was #46, 245, and #65 benchmade 9100SBT-400 ARES. they were sold through CFI contract.
