Crossposting since JR is in here and it's a Lone Wolf thing.

So I have this Glock 17L, and recently acquired a LWD threaded barrel for it. So since I don't have a suppressor yet, I got a Lone Wolf 9mm major brake for it. Gotta screw something on it right?

I tested it out on Sunday. It works well. Too well. It takes so much recoil out that the pistol no longer cycles (at least that's what I think).

I did not think to try the pistol/ barrel combo without the brake installed, but it runs flawlessly with the factory barrel. I bought the barrel from a friend who used it for suppressor demos so it should be ok.

So, ditch the brake or get a weaker spring? What weight?

Dunno. Thoughts?

Please read the WARNING regarding 9-Major comps and weak ammo here
That comp is called a 9-Major because it requires Major power to run it. It is the best thing going if you feed it the right ammo. You wouldn't try to run your dragster on regular gas would you?
Feed it something worth digesting or switch it out for the standard 9 comp.

Would you swap me out? It still looks perfect and has only a handfull of rounds through it.
