Ted posted it on LTW saying it was from his personal stable. But he didn't specify that it was his work.

Add magwell and ditch ambi safety like this. Add Cane & Derby holster & mag carrier (coming soon) and you get the perfect carry 1911 for serious business.

Wow very nice.
What gun is that?
I didn't know SA made an Operator without the front cocking serrations.

Seeing that Heirloom gun made me think of this one
http://www.fmgnews.com/HGMJ54.jpg
It was from American Handgunner magazine It was the cover story excellence Defined. I gotta say if I was only able to own 1 1911 ever that be it hands down. That is one of the best looking guns I ever seen in my entire life. Thing is just perfect. I remember reading the article and thinking I bet Bac has one.

I didn't even think of that, your prolly right.
Either that or they welded 'em up. Wouldn't take long with a 5/32" 7024.

Bac has a Yost retro build and DRC also has an Heirloom. Can't remember if anyone else in here has one.

I want one so bad its one of my must have guns. 99% sure the one in the picture was a Yost gun. You know there 1911's then there are guns like the Heirlooms that are true works of art.

Does it matter?! It's from Heirloom. They're all artists there.

No really? I thought it was just one smith that has multiple personalities...

Most likely a full rail operator mil-spec cut down to his liking.
I'm sure the custom show use something similar:

Lol no. I would just never drop that much on a gun even if I was filthy rich.
