That's what this forum is all about, my friend.
There are many great collections here. :wavey:
Would the Legacy Sports Citadel full size 1911 be a decent choice for returning to the world of 1911's?
My dealer can get me one for $518.00, is that a fair price?
I don't own a Citadel, but I do own a Charles Daly EFS, which is identical. When the Charles Daly name was discontinued, Armscor marketed the 1911s under Citadel.
I like it quite a bit. :)

Bac' as well as many others have 1911's I would give body parts for.
However, I got my Miller Custom Springfield a while back & I am very
pleasantly satisfied. Once you fine "The One" you will be cured of it
about 90%............you NEVER get over the disease!

unless you're in an upper income bracket, it's probably best to not look at bacs collection pics. try someone elses. he has the means and the knowledge. most of us just have the knowledge. i want to be his curator.

I really like my job, but I'm not close to upper income. I would just like to have several nice 1911's to add to my modest collection.

You don't have to spend big bucks to get a nice 1911. :)
