I wanted to say I enjoy reading your POV very well informed.

I have a question that stems from incident at my job that thankfully didn't escalate to this level but was just curious how it would play out legally. 2 people fighting good old fisty cuffs with one party instigating it and a clear aggressor no immediate threat of death to either one neither ever fell or whatever. Say the aggressive one drew a CCW escalating this to a life or death event if you were to intervene draw and fire is there a "good guy" clause to cover you? Totally hypothetical of course. I live in Fl and let's say in this scenario where the Castle doctrine doesn't apply.

Incomplete hypothet. The aggressor could be a plainclothes officer who grabbed the guy to make an arrest for a crime unknown to you. He could be the victim of an unseen mugging who chased the attacker, cornered him in front of you, and only appears to be the aggressor. The aggressor could have decided he was overmatched and drawn the gun to say "Stop, I'm leaving."

We just don't know enough in this hypothetical to be drawing and firing, IMHO.
