I would like to try one with the lighter supersonic rounds. I am really on the fence about getting on board although I have seen a few nice builds posted on here.
love this round....hope it catches on

I fired CMMG's full auto, suppressed 300BLK at Knob Creek. It is a great round for medium distances.
I would like to build a 9" barrelled model with a can. Great HD SBR.
Very fun little caliber.
I reload a little for it...

I have wanted a 300 whisper AR-15 for almost 15 years now. The 300 BLK is the thing I have been waiting on. I have about 9 months before I can buy anymore guns to decide, so I am watching closely for ammo availability. That is about the only thing stopping me since the rest is standard AR-15 parts and mags. It will probably be the first SBR that I build/buy.

I like the round quite a bit on paper. Anyone do any serious research into its terminal effects? Or has it been used in combat in significant quantities?

The .300 Whisper caught my eye a long time ago, but didn't QUITE answer all the questions. I saw the .300 BLK and said "Yep!"
I've had a Novske 8" upper waiting patiently for its NFA friend to get 'licensed.' I figure about another two months.
And then, as soon as the 762-SDN-6 I've paid for is released, it gets to wait another few months for that to get its 'license.'
I'm not a patient man, but this whole NFA thing is teaching me the meaning of the word. I've never waited this long for anything.
Love the silence.. but isnt 300BLK ammo almost a $1 a round? Atleast it was at one time, havent checked in a while. If thats the case I'll continue to stand on the sideline and cheer.
300 Blackout ammo made by Remington is waaaaaay cheaper than the old standby of CorBon 300 Whisper ammo.
