Nope. And nope. The "secret squirrel" NN has been let out of the bag for awhile now. We're all waiting to hear from Alex for a delivery date.

Well, time to let the cat out of the bag. One of them is ribbed and the other is smooth. The "ribbed" one is a Yost built Gunsite Les Baer Commander and the other "smooth" one, is a RRA Basic Carry. They'll have different triggers than seen here and different grips than seen here.

Thinking real hard about hardchroming the RRA, if you can believe that, but will wait to the parkerizing job firsthand before moving in that direction. Maybe a magwell for the RRA too, but haven't decided yet. :)

I am telling ya, Joe.....The RRA is not ready for HC yet. This pistol just screams cool in its park'd state. :)

I could do without the FCS on the commander, but given the name behind it, I could easily over-look them too.

Joe and I had talked about this before, but once you do that, you have pretty much ruined the original "Yost GSP" value of the pistol. I am not a FCS fan either, but this is what it is, and you damned sure don't see many of these floating around.

Yeah, the Baer GSP will be heading to Chuck for carry cuts, a bobtail and golfball work and the RRA off to the Taurus Custom Shop for a gold plated frame, then off to Kimbers Custom Shop for an OD green KimPro finished slide.

Thanks Brian. :) I'm pretty stoked about these two. I've always wanted a RRA and I've really wanted a Gunsite 1911 after I got my Baer TRS. And for it to be a Baer GCP instead of a Colt or S&W, is pretty cool. And then throw in the Yost factor and it's a really neat pistol.
