View Full Version : HK legend grows again

Apparently Popular Mechanics had an article saying the HK416 was used to stitch up Bin Laden.
I just wonder what the Navy has done with the actual weapon?
Will it pop up in a museum somewhere?
I'd like to see it and see how it was configured.
We've got the guns that killed Lincoln, Kennedy and wounded Reagan,
why not the one that got Bin Laden?

I wonder if they have UBL's shorty AK. Now, that would be a war trophy. when did HK start paying for ads in Popular mechanics?

they dont have to. hk reliability speaks for itself. the 416 is being fielded in limited numbers by the usmc as the m27 and the seals use the 416 and the threaded barrel hk45c in various roles. both groups that know and use what works.

I think the already hard to find rare as a hen's tooth krink kits jumped $500 every time they showed UBL on the news with his.
