Did some more work on my Range Officer. I put a set of Hogue Govt. Model S&A Mag Well Aluminum - Matte Green Anodized grip panels. I also put a set of grip panels on my 1911 knife that I got from faawrenchbndr. Sorry about the crappy pic, but my cam died:embarassed::crying:

Damn it Okie, you've got me looking at those knives now. I really think I need to own a CPMS30V one, but that will make my CPMS30V Spyderco jealous. I really don't need it........must..........resist. :crying:

I ordered the XS big dot sights. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet though. I have shot a pistol that had them on it and loved them:thumbsup:

The Alumagrips have some ultra-ghey styling while the Hogues are traditional double diamond. Either is designed to contain a case failure though which is why the Hogues get the nod on my heaviest shooter 1911A1.

Here is another good choice from Academy Sports.

The Kershaw TONE.

They sell new for about $30 and may be exclusive to Academy, 'cause I haven't seen them anywhere else.

Come to the dark side. Screw the cookies, we have blondes in bathing suits who also like Pink Floyd.

That IS a neat-looking RO. Nice work.

And that bathing suit is in a class all its own.

Where do I get one of these 1911 knives? I have a friend who needs one, think I'll get it for him.

Ah - found it. A very difficult search term, I just got lucky. You know - "1911 knifw" - yes, even the mistaken spelling got me there in .000384 seconds.
