Need some info on Barska Optics

Hey guys,

I've been looking into getting a bigger scope. Right now, I have a 10/22 with a Barksa 3-9x40 scope on it. I got it cheap, it does the job, but I want something a little bit bigger (I plan to use it on an AR I get later down the road, but it'd be on the 10/22 until then.) Here is the link to it.

There are ads all over youtube videos about it and I finally decided to check it out. Some of the reviews from their site sound fake, and most of the Amazon reviews pretty much say "I tried to mount this to my .308 and it fell apart". Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this optic in particular or can offer some more insight on Barska.

If you want to waste $100, then by all means, go for it.

Seriously, you'd be better served buying a Tasco 32044 6-24x42 for $75. That way you'd be out less money when it breaks.

I bought one of those a few months ago but I haven't mounted it on my AR yet to shoot it. It feels solid and looks good but just haven't had the time to do anything with it.

If Barska made good 4-16x50 scopes for $100, then no one would pay $200 for a 4-16x50 scope by Vortex.:wavey:
