Yea there pretty much the same gun so my pick would be the RIA I like the slide markings on it more then the Citadel. Even thought wish my RIA had front cocking serrations.

You can just toss a coin. Based on looks alone, I kind of like the Citadel. If I was not crazy about FCS, then the RIA Tactical would be the choice. You could also consider the STI SPARTAN for a few more dollars.

The RIA is a much cleaner looking pistol,.....normal roll marks & no frickin FCS!

I stick with the Armscor pistols I hadn't heard to much about the ATI's.

One more then consider is Rocky Island Armory has A+ customer service from what I read. I know that was kinda one of the buying points for me

The rimfire (GSG) ATI is built in Germany.

I recently bought a ATI Commander. I can't give you a range report because I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. Just a couple observations after I broke the gun down to do a good cleaning and lube. The slide/frame fit is amazingly good. I've seen 1911's costing 3X that aren't fitted as well. On the negative side, I'm not a huge fan of the GI sights, or the stock wood grips. I'd rate the trigger as average. But, I think it's an excellent base gun, and for $400 I think it's an excellent deal. Now for some new sights, new grips and a little trigger work. I'll let you know how the break in goes.
