What's the verdict in them? Is $750.00 a good price?

Its close. I'd probably give the Smith a slight edge. Of course, they cost more too.

I really like the new E-Series from a quality standpoint.

My LGS will sell me the Stainless SW1911 for $750.00 with my LEO discount, I might snag it tomorrow. :cool:

Nice price. I got the blued model for $600 a few years ago during after a $100 Smith rebate. They have gone up since though.
