Can someone familiar with SAs explain the comment about a "fat frame"? I've never owned a SA 1911 so that comment is a mystery.

Early springfield used a frame that is thicker than normal along dustcover and grip.

It sure looks better blued than park'd.. but I agree for a used Loaded, it is a bit much.

fat frame is the old contour of the front strap and dust cover.
