Just wanted to say thanks to Nick, Cobra, and CMG for sending this to help me get started reloading to feed my Kobra Carry. 1,700 rounds and 500 CCI primers. I've got 300 rounds of Federal FMJ to shoot through then this 2k will get reloaded. Thanks, you guys are great. Can't say enough about your generosity.

Given your new job, you won't have time to reload, so you better just give them to the NE Ohio guys...

Get a rock chucker and roll on. Unless you shoot a bunch, I think it will be all you will need. I found mine at a yard sale for $20. Got all the other accessories except the tumber for under a hundred.

It's a cheap way to get started and you can always recover your money if you move up to something else.

Always save brass. I never shoot .40 any more, but in the last year, I've collected a few thousand empties that I give to two Glock G22 shooters who reload.

Of the "mainstream," .45 is the most difficult to scavenge.

Cool that you're getting into reloading. I've been reloading for a 2-3 years now. I'm getting into casting now.

If you're interested, I have a Lee Breech Lock Challenger press laying around that I don't use anymore. It needs a new toggle linkage; the press has two links. $11 shipped from Lee will get you two new links, and you can keep the one that is still good for a spare.

Just so you know the history of the press, I broke one link and crushed the shell holder slot on the ram resizing military .308 brass. Lee repaired it under warranty (it's out of warranty now), and I broke the toggle link again swaging crimped primer pockets. I moved to a LNL Classic after that, so I don't need the Lee press anymore.
