Met Knedrgr and Quack at a new LGS that just opened yesterday by us, then we drove over to our local range. Great time as usual with the fellas.
As for the Glock, ran a mag through Quack's G24........and hated it. Couldn't shoot that thing for sh1t. Everything high left. Didn't bother to run a second mag through it.
Also shot Knedrgr's M&P9. That was a great shooting plastic 9.
I will be sticking with 1911s thank you very much.

Also ran a box through Quack's DW Guardian 9mm. That is a hell of a nice gun. Only thing it needs is a checkered MSH, which is a quick fix.
Hokie didn't wash my balls after we were done for the day :animlol:

I didn't have my Lava in the rangebag. Oops. :whistling:
they had GoJo there, it's just liquid Lava.
How did the range side vasectomy go?

That was pretty granular. Would you really want your twig & berries that gritty?

We saved that for another day.

Good times as always.
I had asked the sales guy at the LGS to handle the S&W 1911PD. While handling the gun, he asked me if I'm in the market for a 1911, and see if I had handle or should look at a Kimber. Let just say that they have a lot of Kimbers there.

I didn't see Quack listed in the Anthem list of local providers that I am covered with. :whistling:

I was wondering if he was going to grab a mallet to pound that mag in.
That was awesome when he said "you should look at the Kimbers....they make a great 1911". We looked at each other and both said "nah". :animlol:
i waited for a stall and was shooting next to a cutie :)
I wish she would've washed my balls :animlol:

Sorry I missed it fellas,......traffic is a biOtch!
we might be on track to get a community reloading setup too :)

Just remember, I have a bunch of extra wood left, from when I was doing displays for LV. So I can actually build the bench. Give me some preliminary dimensions and I can get it started.

There's a bunch of plans you can pull off the interwebz for a simple bench.
As for the Glock hated it. Couldn't shoot that thing for sh1t. Everything high left.
I had similar issues with my P30 the other night. It hit dead center vertically, but 2-3" left at 15 yards. Funny thing was I hitting dead center with my G19. Go figure.

Try again numbnuts. I had just run 100+ rounds of .45 through my gun and it was through a longslide 9mm Glock.
Perhaps it was the sh1tty grip and trigger? :animlol:

Yeah, if we believed the AARP salesman behind the counter, Kimber is the ONLY choice for a "high-end" 1911.

Here's a good story. Was at a store, and another customer was trying to buy some JHPs for his handgun, for home defense. And he just couldn't justify the price of a box of 20 rounds of Hydra Shok vs the 50 rounds of Winchester. And he was at it for a good 5 minutes. So I just look at the guy and ask him if the life of his family was worth the debate.
And he walked off with one box of HS. Hope he knows that he should test out that JHP for reliability in his gun. But I doubt it.

I particularly liked your "I prefer a larger caliber" comment to the dude that pulled the .380 S&W Bodyguard out....that we didn't ask to see.
Yeah, so much easier to carry when I'm on the bike. Ummm, no buddy, I'm carrying now and you don't see my heavy-*** 1911, that's on my hip.
If I'm paying the same price for ammo, I rather buy 45's. LOL.

I'm surprised your heavyass 1911 didn't tip you over when you were carving that curve.

Its hard to shoot most polymers after being used to a 1911.
