SIG is an acronym. All letters should be upper case. Even this subforum can't get it right.

Rant off.

Haha. I know it is supposed to be SIG but like most people i am too lazy to do shift on my phone and my left shift key is broken on my laptop. But most people seem to know .357sig means .357 SIG.

Yeah, & my wife voweled to love, honor & cherish me "until death do us part" too, but that ain't happening either.:crying:After 25 years the "until death do us part" thing becomes more of a goal to look forward to, than just an obscure promise.

Yes, indeed, it's 'SIG'. But something else many of us don't know is that it's NOT '.357', it's '357'. This is because its bullet diameter is NOT 0.357".

ET--'voweled'? I guess that's the opposite of 'consonanted'. :embarassed:

That's what I thought, too until I checked after seeing this thread.

SIG actually refers to it as ".357 SIG"

Federal is all over the place, using "357" sometimes and ".357" sometimes.

They shoulda just named it the "nuclear 9" or something :)
