Gen 4 Recoil spring

My brand new gen 4 19 has a stiff spring. I have been told that leaving the slide locked back for a couple days may make cycling a little easier. Sounds odd to me, any truth to this? (I have neuropathy in the hands) Thanks, Ron in FL

Glock Inc has a new release of "weaker" Gen4 recoil springs. Contact your local dealer and pick one up
