As we have talked about before, Alex appears to be moving forward with the No Name CCO project that was born from this forum. I talked to him about it today and it appears he is moving forward towards making this a reality, although I have no idea on what time frame we are looking at for this to be in actual production. This is what I know so far....at least of what the plan appears to be. Alex wants to keep the CCO in the No Name family line, so it looks as though it is going to be a steel frame, 15 lpi CCO No Name. It will more or less be in the same family as the Les Baer Stinger, except with a round butt, but I am sure there will be absolutely no roll of the dice when it comes to slingshoting the GGI NN CCO. This should be a pretty cool project when it turns into reality. I told Alex I would like to be the first on the list....Thoughts?

Wow.

Cool stuff, Dave. This forum has been very friendly to Guncrafter.

I think Joe has already locked himself into that spot, although I think he was hoping for an aluminum frame......third, maybe? :)

I also had a chat with Alex about the CCO project today and they definately appear to be a go. I didn't ask too many details, and was kinda hoping for an aluminum frame, but figured it would be a steel frame. Got my name on the list as well. I don't know if there's a nicer guy building top notch 1911's out there. I think an aluminum framed CCO makes more sense, but the thought of having one of Alex's CCO's is enough to sway that issue. Would be pretty cool if they were stainless, but there's always hardchrome.

It would be pretty cool to have a second set of consecutive serial numbered special run No Names. Is Brandon in on this too?

So are you saying I shouldn't cross you off the list, Joe? :) My CCO will be the traditional Melonite, for sure!

I'm in. But mine'll be hardchromed. I think a No Name CCO would round out a perfect No Name trio with the Fullsize and Commander No Names. Especially since the Commander had a few new things for Alex and the fullsize is stainless. Having the CCO would round out a very cool Guncrafter collection. But hey man, do me and my bank accout a favor and quit coming up with these secret squirrel projects with Alex.

I can't imagine them being any more than the other No Name models. :dunno:

He should prefix the serial with GT! I am on the fence. It will be timing driven as well as th regular requirement to be consecutive serials with Joe :whistling:

I have not even discussed that with Alex at this point, but if I had to guess, I would say it would be in line with the other NN offerings.

I was going to put money down on a Springfield compact built to pro specs, but I was really hoping guncrafters would make one. I am very excited about this!

That would be a really cool SA, but the more I think about it, the GC NN CCO will be one to keep in the collection.

That's it then. Moving the Stinger before I we get too attached to each other - its the only ethical thing to do.

If this happens, I'll have a new top wanted 1911. The GC NN Commander is there now, but I prefer CCO.

If one of them can cook, run the vacuum, do laundry, drive a tractor and not talk too much, we may be able to work out on even steven swap on one of them for the the CCO.

They are two so the only thing they can do is whine and cry, they are good for a laugh every now and then. One went to my wife and in a very bossy tone told her to clean her butt.
