I love my P229. I have both the .40 and .357 barrels and 200 rds of Speer GD for each caliber. Amazing weapon. Missing my G19 though. It is so much lighter but I will feel bad for carrying it, lol. I dunno why. Perhaps I feel undergunned with the G19.

That's too bad. Perhaps you need to exercise.

We had no problem wearing this gear in a two day pistol / carbine class in 90 degree heat.

I carry a Beretta 92 on a daily basis on a drop leg SERPA at work which is all good. Off duty, I would like to give this permanent bruise I have on my left hip a break, lol.

When I wear my sig 229 off duty. I use a comptac holster with a comptac belt. No problems.

Me too.

I can easily carry this 41 ounce stainless steel P229ST with five mags all day long in three day training classes.

Man...
That looks downright cozy next to what I wore in 110degrees in Iraq..
For a YEAR!
(just kidding ya, that looks like a fun course!)

I carry a 229 daily. What holster are you using?

Compared to what you went through over there, we were cozy.

Thank you for serving America.

My 229SAS rides comfortably in a Crossbreed Super Tuck IWB holster, with a proper gun belt, no problems.
