Anyway to get the slide off of a Glock 20 if you put the spring in backwards?
It should still come down the same way? You may have to push the slide forward but it should still come off

What if it has slipped off the barrel and is wedged between the barrel and slide on the inside?

It should still slip off. Once you have the slide lock lever down push the slide forward with your thumb. When it moves forward about 1/2 inch you can knock it the rest of the way off the frame with a soft faced hammer
