View Full Version : Wilson Combat-Turnbull .38 Super.....NICE!!!
I gotz to have me one of these!!!! Funny thing is, I called in to Wilson to ask about it and the sales guy had no idea what I was talking about. I guess their blog guys should probably fill the sales guys in when they are going to post something at the end of the article such as "call us to reserve yours today"......:)
Love that finish, looks beautiful.
WOW, very impressive. That's too funny about the sales tard, though. Only thing: I would order checkering on the front strap as opposed to that "stippling" or whatever you call it. Much cleaner.
I too would prefer checkering on a gun DT was going to blue. It's nice to know Wilson offers stippling though, that's the first one i've seen with it.
Turnbull restorations is located in my town........
Those guys have some VERY NICE and expensive guns....
I usually have to bring in a towel with me..................
To wipe up the DROOL...LOL
That charcoal bluing is phenomenal looking. I like the whole package.
Well, it must be a misprint, because we all know that Wilson doesn't sub out any of their finishes, i.e., hardchrome...:whistling:
Wow. That is beautiful.
That's a dream 1911, for sure.
After seeing the DT Charcoal Blue these pictures does not bring any justice to his finish
Turnbull definitely know how to do bluing.
I fell in love with the Turnball finsih many months back after reading up on it on the Wilson 1911 forums. Looks awesome. Makes me think of adding it on a future build.
If I would of known about Turnbull when I ordered the Professional I would of went with that finish. Maybe next time.
