2nd generation ammo question

All of my Glocks are 2nd gen. My question will a 2nd gen 19 or 17 is capable of shooting 9mm+P ammo?

I called Glock Factory and spoke to a technician who said Glock can handle +P ammo but not the +P+.

FYI: LWD 40-9 conversion barrels will run 9Major loads (+P+)
