I gotta say, this is a really good shooting gun. Feels almost like a hot loaded 9mm. REALLY like this gun! Here's a pic of an 8" target with pretty much a 2"-2.5" group in it. The other targets are from other outtings with other guns.

Yeah, that's the proper way to perform a field tracheotomy, when using a 1911 .45ACP.

Thanks guys, but that was 50 rounds at just 8 yards. I will say that I never shoot a new gun very well the first time out with it, so this one did do ok.
With that barrel, felt recoil is minimal.

True, and I also noticed that the sound is different too. Makes more of a "plunk" sound than a "bang" sound. Must be the satellite dish coned barrel. I also like how it doesn't dirty up the front of the slide, and just keeps all the mess on the "satellite" cone.

Have you shot the CCO yet?

Yes, and I LOVE it. :) The small silouhette target, below the shoot-n-c target was 50 rounds from the CCO at 15 yards. Can't wait to get both of these guns on a bech at 25 yards. I'm more than sure that both WELL outshoot me, without a doubt. But, I shoot both well emough to feel comfortable enough to CC either one. As a matter of fact, I've CC'd the CCO all day and have it on as I type.
Joe - that's awesome. It almost makes me want one for myself! So do you have a favorite yet?

I have to admit that it does look weird w/ that type of barrel. But the benefits are pretty cool.

It's that hardchrome one...

Well - he did say he was carrying the CCO... He could be coming around.:faint:

:rofl:OK guys, let me set the record straight. I LOVE the NH PII, as it's coned, bobbed AND hc'd. The CCO shoots lights out and is lighter and the officer sized frame is on par with a bobtail, as far as CC goes IMO. I have heard nothing but but great things about the DW "Duty Treatment" finish. Since the CCO isn't a "high dollar" costing gun, (although I would put it at the top of the list in it's price range), I plan on beating the hell out of it as a CC gun and seeing just how tough it is. I'm gonna treat it like a Glock. The CCO will be my "go to" CC 1911. I can't say enough good about it. The NH PII is going to be CC'd, but I'm a big fan of an aluminum framed 1911 for CC.

Yeah, and he could pawn that crummy old 4" Python off on me to help fund his new NH. :whistling:
