I'm curious but is it just ARMSCOR making a bunch of guns with different names for the various American brands? Or there are more than one Filipino arms manufacturer?

Not that I'm aware of, but who knows. :dunno:
I will say that the three of them are quite a bit different from one another.

I heard about a new bobtailed model being introduced, but I wasn't sure of the price. If its that cheap, it will certainly sell very well.

Yes it will. I'll have one for sure.

It looks good. That chainlink pattern seems well done. My Firestorm DLX has a decent trigger, so this model should be a winner at that price.
There really aren't any lower priced bobtailed 1911s on the market.
.
That Bobtail looks nice, any idea when they will hit the market?
I imagine for this market, they will be marked "American Classic".

I would rather the gun be in a blued version but it might work out as it will be my CC if it is reliable. I like SS better as sweat causes lots of rust issues. Will get rid of that hammer though.

30 years ago I had a Squires Bingham .22. It was a S&W Model 17 knock off. Actually it was pretty well built and totally reliable.

Yeah, my Firestorm has the same trigger and hammer, though you can't see the hammer in this pic.

Don't know what the sn is on your guns but mine is below 80. The rear sight is differant too. My other MAs is the G.I. version with a sn below 60.

On the G.I. version my two best friends and I have 55, 56, and 57. Pretty cool since we didn't buy them at the same time. Hell one was bought in a pawn shop months after the other two were bought. What are the odds huh?

If any one of them could chill with the billboards, they would eat up the other two- as well as a good chunk of the budget/econo/entry market.

Iver Johnson isn't too bad with the billboards. They're built by SAM.

I heard you can customize the roll marks if you order directly from them. And you have to be in the Philippines. :)

I wonder if I could undercut RIA on price if I contracted to have a series of No-Name Tacticals built?
It is one less manufacturing step...
Group Buy, anyone?

Please please share some more info/details/links on this....
I picked up a Metro Arms Gov Model for like $400 a couple years ago. If this is anywhere CLOSE to what current M.A. guns are selling for price wise I will buy one fast as *****.
