a guy here in my state has a basic Wilson CQB with about 250 rounds through it in great shape for $1380. is this a good deal? should i snatch it up or is the deal just ok? it has the green frame/black slide, tritium sights, ambi safety, and looks great from the pics. thanks for the help!

Ummmmmm a new one runs north of $2k. You do the math. Only 250 rounds? That sounds like a "too good to be true" deal...or the gun is hot.

I'm still waiting on my CQB being built that was ordered April '11. It RAN $2,599 as I specked it out. It does have the double diamond coco grips, Pyramid night sights and BULLET PROOF upgrade package. I'm still WAITING!.....................:whistling:

The same seller listed 2 guns on the same day in two different cities that are over 600 miles away.

Looks like he's trying to pull something to me.

First of all, if it sounds too good to be true then it's probably is too good to be true.

Secondly, these custom and semi-custom guns don't necessarily have a lot of resale value. One person's idea of accessories is not the same as another person's idea of accessories.

unless you can get you hands on it for inspection and FTF deal, i'd say it's a scam.

I did buy my Wilson Classic Longslide for $1395, so anything is possible.

Reminds me of the guy that I just contacted off Armslist. He posted a Kimber Gold Cup for $650.00. I contacted him and he told me he was knew to the site and didn't now how to use it, and that he was from New York. He then asked me if I would drive to New York to get the gun, OR I could pay the shipping and he would ship it to me. Money order only tho LMAO! I Called him on his bs and he never replied back.

if the gangsta was posing as a gun dealer at the gun show, then you would be correct. :tongueout:

BTW, knedrgr was there with me and he bought a G22 :faint:

So you bought a 1911 and he got a glock? Man I'm so disappointed in him. :crying:

That was before he even got his first 1911

That was such a funny day.

The drive from the gun show to the range was awesome. Some kid in a Tiburon didn't know what he was getting into. I just drive a sedan...

The Wilson longslide had a better group, at 25 yards, than some ninja guy w/ his bolt action rifle. Priceless.

Good thing I don't have a glock as a tattoo.

If it's an honest deal, I'd say to get it and since it already comes with a badass holster, I'd have it refinished. That is one ugly gun IMO, but it's a good one.

Yeah, the frame color certainly hurts the resale value.

I think the objection, was to a green colored frame in general. Especially on a semi-custom. Which exact color of green it is, doesn't really matter.

Well, except for the ambi safety, that's exactly the CQB I bought new 7 years ago for $2,100.00.

If the price is legit, I'd say go for it.

They said they had a glock and 1911, that should be plenty of protection....

I don't really care for their black over blue that Wilson puts out alot, to each his own I guess.
