I know he wasn't a police officer but he played one (I know, it sounds like a Holiday Inn commercial). Bubba Smith passes away. A cool dude.

I was too young to remember his football days but growing up in the 80s would not have been the same without him on Police Academy. RIP Hightower you gave us alotta laughs.
