FLIPPER 348

I put 1K Remington golden .22 bulk-pac in an ammo can and ran them through my Kimber/Fusion dedicated .22 1911. It took a few weeks of casual shooting clays and Hineken cans out on the BLM as work has been a bit busy of late.
A few dozen FTFs, mostly failures to extract due to a dirty chamber and extractor. A quick spray of CLP and a boresnake through the barrel & a toothbrush the breachface at every failure and she ran like a sewing machine again. The pistol is disturbingly accurate. My filler for the FCS and Kimber billboard did not survive the surface prep though.
blue ti ceramic coat
EGW sear & disconnector
Champion sights (well worn)
Colt trigger, grip safety, thumb safety, and mag release
Wilson slide release and grip screws
Vietnam era plastic grips
Springfield MSH
hammer from my SR 1911
I could not be happier with the results. It was an expensive project but that's ok.
This pistol will be shot more than my .45 1911s combined!
