Okie,

When I finally got my hair cut to a Flat-top, it took several days of decision making time.

My hair wasn't 'long', but, it was long enough.
I just got tired of it.

I've worn a Flat-top for almost 20 years, now.
Shaved slick on the sides and back. . . . real high!
Top, not short. Medium height.

It is COMFORTABLE!!!!!!!

Okie, I didn't want my hubby to do it for the longest time. BUT he was getting VERY thin on top.

FINALLY, I caved and let him do it!

NOW, I think it is VERY hawt!!! He looks GREAT with his hair cut very short!

I've even had several of my friends ask me if he has a brother, or we can clone him!

ESPECIALLY if a man is thinning on the top of his head...he should absolutely opt for this cut! (Of course, from the photos I've seen of you, this does NOT apply, but you'd still look good, I'm sure!)

It's just hair, and it will always grow back!

Go for it. What's it going to hurt? It's comfortable especially in this heat. I keep mine nearly shaved and even a slight breeze feels good.

There are a lot of men around here with long hair! A lot of men with very gray hair with long hair, too! My mom and I went to a health food store to pick up some things the end of last week and the guy running the store almost looked like the photos I've seen all my life of Jesus.

We talked about the "Willie Nelson" braid for my hubby for a while....even started working on growing it. But the guys at work gave him such a hard time about it, we went back to the original plan!

Go ahead and shave it. I was wondering about that for years. I shaved it about a year ago and love it. Balding is not a choice but bald is. If you don't like it, it will grow back. I don't wear hats anymore and don't pay the barber. But, I do buy razors. Do it!! I felt the same way about the polar bear club..but love doing that now.

I've had LONG hair most of my life....

Do you know how many times I've contemplated cutting it short short? But then I remember, everytime in my life that I cut it really short, the minute I got home from the Salon, I started growing it long again!

Besides, there are bigger things in life that make men a chicken! :rofl:
