Have a little Volkmann on the way. It's going to be several months yet, but I am excited. I've always wanted one of Luke's pistols, and George happened to get the build in I would have ordered for myself.

Believe it or not, going tomorrow for the maiden voyage. Have about 500 rounds to put through her and the Wilson. Plan on doing a little comparison. Travel has been nuts. Been in the house about 4 days in the past 3 weeks.

Son of a gun! I keep bouncing the Combatant Carry, Brown Kobra Carry and Wilson CQB around in my head. I am leaning towards the Volkmann, but haven't made my mind up yet.

Looks fantastic, congrats!

I really like my Kobra Carry, but if I had to do it all over again (buying just one), after shooting Lawdog's NN... I think I would go with a bob'd commander NN. There are a hell of a lot of sweet heaters in that $2,500ish sweetspot.

I am not allowing myself to go to George's website anymore.

That is one nice piece you have coming!

My wife has been armed with the web address and specs of a Wilson Combat CQB in 9mm to order if she ever got the urge... I keep suggesting it would make a great graduation gift if I ever finish school.

The Combatant Carry is $3500ish. Well, I suppose it depends a bit. I'm pretty sure there has been a fairly recent increase after the split up.

Luke builds nice guns for sure...but I think his prices are a tad high. Just my opinion. Not knocking anyone's choice to buy one, but I can't see much of a difference between his bobtail, any of the Browns, GIs, Wilsons, etc... to justify the bump of $1k.

Yeah I hear ya. The biggest reason that I keep it in the running is because outside of the "circle of trust" no one knows who Volkmann is. Even the range ninjas know Brown, Nighthawk and Wilson.

I hadn't been to his site in months, I didn't even know the model name changed. I can't wait to hear the range report, i have a feeling you are going to love it. It may take me months before I make a decision. :wow:
