I don't know if anyone will be interested but I am starting a Police patch collection and was wondering if anyone wanted to trade patches from your Departments with mine. I can get mostly all the New York City PD patches. Let me know. Thanks!

I know several departments stopped allowing current patches to be swapped
because of liability issues. Also a few we had swapped showed up on E-Bay.

Same with old badges. You got to keep yours rank change, retirement. But the state seal was removed & Stamped COPY in it

Let me look around, I have a box someplace in this house with at least 400 patches in it. I started collecting in 1970. I have no need for them anymore. It might take me a couple months to find the box. So bare with me!

I have a couple of patches from the department I just left & maybe a couple from my current Dept. I also collect patches, and have thought about statrting this same thread on here. Both of mine I'll trade are from Oklahoma, and I know that one is unique, in that it was custom designed by the Capt. at that dept. Send me a PM if interested.

Newest to my collection, and the only one I have from outside the U.S. is from South Australia Police. Pretty cool patch. was still attached to cloth from the uniform shirt.

I have a few patches I can swap with someone. I'm out of my old agency's patches, but have some from my current agency, OUPD.
I'm also interested in oversea's agencies, and if anyone knows/ or has a Czech patch, (my great grandfather came from there) I would greatly appreciate it. I'm sure my family would love to see it as well.

The patches are greatly appreciated, and look great.
The NYPD patch along with LAPD are American police icons.
Now, I need a LAPD patch. :whistling:

Not even on the raid jackets? I have a LAPD patch in my collection, typical CA shape, white, green border with a outline of a green cross on it. Not real? A buddy bought it at the academy store when he was out there for testing a few years ago.

I think there motor or traffic officers wore them not sure if they still do though.
