View Full Version : This is one sweet CQB Elite...
Auction obviously ended but I love the features on this pistol. Would prob have opted for a FO front sight along w rear battle sights but overall one sweet pistol. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=245279432

I thought they were north of $3200?
Someone got a smoking deal on that beauty. I wish my test target looked like that one...

That WAS a nice snag for whoever bought it. Nice options too...especially the FCS delete. Don't care for the sights though.

The Ed Brown cobra carry is 2 months or less old. I like the fact that it's a traditional Commander sized 4 1/4" barrel...I simply like the LOOK/FEEL of that length versus the shorter lengths others sell.
The CQB is a standard model, about as stock as it gets. Other than replacement Davisdson warthog grips. Both the CQB and the KC have been flawless. Have not had a single FTF/malfunction with either.
The BHP is an old one sent to Novak many years back for a refinish and a few tweeks.
Of the dozens of 1911's I've owned in the past 45 years THIS Wilson CQB is the absolute best of the bunch. With GI hardball it will do 1.5" at 25 yds on a good day. Two inches at 25 yds is the norm. Never a malfunction, all the controls "snick" into position perfectly. Hell of a gun.
