Just got off the phone with kimber they said send it to them. I told them I had pictures and that I could send so they could give me an idea of what could be done but they said that pictures wouldnt show enough but I think these pictures clearly show the issue but I dont really want to send it in thats why I went with kimber so I wouldnt have to worry bout bs, like this but I guess il be sending it in after I come up with some cash to buy another pistol to temporarily replace it

Guess he didn't know any better :animlol:

Thankfully, I never had to deal with Kimber's CS.

I bought my kimber ultra carry about 4 months ago and shot 400 rounds total out of it the pistol has no problems mechanicaly shoots great. I do a basic cleaning everday because I carry it on a daily basis and do a deep cleaning after every range visit well I took it all apart and noticed something that didnt look normal I took pictures and hope you all can answer my question is this normal ? How can I get it taken care of if not normal? Will it eventually affect the performance of the pistol

Pics will be uploaded in just a minute

I only dealt with Kimber once,.....and that was painless.
They replaced an EE slide for FREE on a Team Match II.

Just send it in!

I love the people that come into the shop and asked if I can do a Glock grip reduction or Cerakote or something that take a bit of time and mean while i have guns up the ass to work on .Then ask if they can wait for it because they don't want to be without it.

A woman has more than one pair of shoes. Why shouldn't a guy have more than one pistol?

If their Kimber forum runs like some of their others, he may have never read a negative report on Kimber!

+1

My Ultra Carry is an earlier (Pre series II) but many others were/are not.

Same here, but Chuck Rogers fixed what they screwed up.

I wish I would have been able to take that road, I wouldn't have the ill-feelings I have now. While my pistols are fine from a function point, I'm just want to get rid of them all together. The CS follow-up I've received has been mediocre at best, I don't want to waste my time down the road.

I have to figure out what a reasonable loss will be on all the ones I have...IF I can even get rid of them :steamed:

I would think taking a can of Krylon to a gun was a pretty quick process. Is the first coat dry-time what takes so long?
