Overall I like that......but the slide stop, trigger & barrel bushing gotta go!

Quack

the slide stop is odd, it looks like the one for my .22 conversion. the bushing holds the front sight in. the trigger will be a flat trigger

They seem to do good work. What do you think about their bushing?

I don't personally care for the looks of it, but you know it's a very reliable solid shooter. Especially coming out of that shop.

The more I look at the bushing,......it's ok, but I would prefer more of a rounded one.
Actually looks a lot better in the stailless/hard chrome pic

It's a Pistol Dynamics design.

Don't take it out on me because there isn't a flat trigger option.

Not sure.

It took two years for me to get my Signature model. It was worth the wait though. :)

Its Paul's design. They work quite well, actually.

I'm curious if Paul lowers and flares the ejection port, as would be a common operation on a GI to insure reliability.
That aside, I shot a PD weapon owned by a friend. It was as well fit, accurate, smooth, and solid as a WC Supergrade.
Paul Liebenberg is has a stellar resume, and the product to back it up. It's a sad state of affairs that there's more attention paid to the looks of the bushing or beavertail than the relatively low cost of converting a common weapon into a hard use tack driver by one of the best pistolsmiths in the world.

You could count the smiths that have Paul's design and machining talent on one hand. :whistling:

I thought Paul was really backed up, I'm a little surprised to see he'd start taking on non full custom work.

Very true. Plus, I like both the bushing and beavertail. :)

The claim on the BT is the highest hold possible. I like the sound of that. For me that would be form over function as I'm not thrilled about the looks. I'd prob want to go 25LPI on the front strap.

To own a PD for $1500 + a GI is a steal.

I personally would spend the extra bill and go with the XO model myself..
